Dr. Julie Wrenn, Evanston Psychologist

Providing therapy for Evanston adolescents and adults.

"In my experience of treating clients over the last 20 years, it has become evident that a truly empathic therapeutic relationship is actually the central healing piece of my treatment. My clients will attest that they feel heard, understood and valued. This is the essential foundation from which we can then tackle the more challenging aspects of change. My immediate goal is to help you investigate and identify what you wish to accomplish in the treatment and in your life. I will assist you in not only the achievement of those goals but an understanding of how to dismantle any obstacles preventing those goals. My intention for my client is to decrease symptoms, suffering and self-imposed limitations; and to increase self awareness, emotional resiliency, confidence and general level of happiness. My clients often report greater self understanding which in turn promotes clearer decision making, improved relationships and greater overall well being."
