Providing therapy for Evanston children, adolescents, and adults.
"I believe that therapy is only as good as the relationship between a client and therapist. Thus, it is my goal to get to know every client on a deeper level in order to foster a solid, healthy, therapeutic relationship that can provide one with opportunities to learn, be challenged, feel supported, and grow. Because each client is different, with different needs and values, I use a variety of therapeutic approaches, with an emphasis on Feminist Interrelational Theory. All clients bring with them strengths and resiliency and it is my goal to help them recognize their own power and strengths through collaborative exploration.
"My clinical training and work has provided me with the opportunities to work with clients across the lifespan with a variety of presenting issues including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, Borderline Personality Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and trauma disorders. I am passionate about working with individuals who identify as LGBTQ*, specializing in working with Transgender/Gender Variant clients. In addition, I am a certified domestic violence counselor and have worked with survivors of violence from all backgrounds, and gender identities. I have experience in working with individuals, families, and groups, as well as providing psychological assessments."
