Many individuals find themselves to be concerned about their relationship with food and/or their bodies. Have you noticed your thoughts to be preoccupied with food, weight or exercise? Do you experience feeling out of control with eating or notice you change how much or how little you eat depending on the way you feel? Do you ever find yourself obsessing about the types and amounts of foods that you’re consuming? Did dieting get out of control and now you feel conflicted about how to get your behaviors back on track?

Eating disorders and disordered eating can be exhausting. At Mindful Psychology Associates, we have several clinicians who specialize in the assessment and treatment of eating disorders and disordered eating who can guide you on your way to healing.

We treat the entire spectrum of eating disorder issues including:

• Anorexia Nervosa
• Bulimia Nervosa
• Binge Eating Disorder
• ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder)
• OSFED (Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorders)
• Body image issues
• Orthorexia
• Emotional eating

Because the treatment of eating disorders often requires a multi-disciplinary approach, we collaborate with trusted adjunct professionals including dietitians, internists, and psychiatrists. Secrecy and shame are frequently components of struggling with an eating disorder, so sometimes the hardest step is reaching out for help. We are here to offer compassionate, skilled care in working with someone who is struggling with eating related concerns. Our Founder and Clinical Director are both specialists in the treatment of eating disorders with over 30+ collective years of experience and regularly supervise our team as well consult with the greater eating disorder treatment community.
